South Africa, Oct. 19 -- Liezl Vermeulen, editor-in-chief of MyKitchen magazine, placed second in the Galliova Food Writer category, while registered dietitian and health and wellness social media influencer Aziwe Booi placed second in the Galliova Health & Wellness Content Creator category.

The 2026 Galliova Awards, celebrated annually in the week following World Egg Day, took place on Friday, 16 October, at De Grendel Wine Estate Restaurant.
