India, July 19 -- The Government of Telangana, in collaboration with Microsoft India 1M1B (1 Million for 1 Billion) and MeitY Startup Hub, has announced the establishment of India's first Green Skills & Applied AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Green Pharma.

The initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening Telangana's position as a global hub for sustainable life sciences manufacturing while building a future-ready talent ecosystem.Expected to become operational by August 2026, the Centre will focus on equipping youth with industry-relevant skills in Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI), sustainable manufacturing and emerging technologies.
