With an aim to translate advances in tissue engineering into useful solutions for the therapeutic treatment of chronic wounds, the Technology Development Board (TDB) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India has provided financial assistance to Gujarat-based Orthograft for a project titled "Production Setup of Advanced Tissue Derived Biological Dressings".

In collaboration with TDB, the company will establish the capability to manufacture indigenous organic dressings for clinical wound treatment applications, including chronic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers and burns.
