Govt advances research, standardisation and quality assessment of herbal medicines

The Drugs Code Commission of India (IPC), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has reinforced its commitment to the vision of a developed Uttar Pradesh-developed India by signing and renewing two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU), Lucknow and CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP).
The renewed MoU with CSIR-CIMAP will continue to collaborate in research, standardisation and quality evaluation of herbal medicines.
