Government supports commercialisation of 3-D printed patient-specific bone graft
India, Sept. 9 -- The Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has provided financial assistance to Ceramat, in Palghar, Maharashtra, for a project titled 'Calcium Phosphate-based Standard and Customised Patient-Specific Grafts by 3D Printing through Digital Light Processing Technology and Extrusion-Based Device'.
The project aims to commercialise advanced, patient-specific bone grafts using indigenously manufactured bioceramic materials and 3D printing technologies.
