India, Sept. 3 -- Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), Delhi has announced the elevation of Dr Vineet Talwar as its Medical Director, effective September 1, 2026. A senior medical oncologist with more than two decades of association with RGCIRC, Dr Talwar brings extensive clinical, academic and research experience to the role.

Dr. Talwar has been serving as Director of Medical Oncology at RGCIRC and has been associated with the Department of Medical Oncology since May 2000.

Over the years, he has played an important role in strengthening the institute's medical oncology practice, while contributing to clinical research, academic training and multidisciplinary cancer care.
