India, Sept. 21 -- Brainlab and Amrita Hospital, Faridabad have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up North India's first Centre of Excellence for Brain & Spine powered by Brainlab's Loop-X(R) Mobile Imaging Robot, strengthening access to cutting-edge technology-enabled neurosurgical and spine care in the region.

The dedicated centre will bring together Amrita Hospital's clinical expertise in neurology and Brainlab's intraoperative imaging and surgical navigation technologies. It will be used for complex operations on the brain and spine, as well as a platform for clinical training, technology demonstrations and the sharing of knowledge between surgeons and health care professionals.
