Korea's Samsung Biologics buys PolyPeptide for CHF 1.46 B
Singapore, July 20 -- South Korea-based Samsung Biologics has announced the launch of an all-cash public tender offer to acquire 100% of the fully diluted share capital of PolyPeptide Group AG, a leading global contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) specialising in peptide-based active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
Under the terms of the offer, PolyPeptide shareholders will receive CHF 44.31 in cash for each PolyPeptide share, representing an implied equity value of approximately CHF 1.46 billion.
