Singapore, Sept. 4 -- KKR, a leading global investment firm, and Avisena Healthcare, a Malaysian healthcare provider, have announced that funds managed by KKR have entered into a definitive agreement to make a minority investment in Avisena.

The investment will support Avisena's next phase of growth, including the expansion of multi-specialty offerings at Avisena's flagship hospitals in Shah Alam, and the build-out of new greenfield hospitals within the Klang Valley.
