Singapore, Sept. 22 -- Women in Singapore now have another option to support their cervical health following Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection, with DKSH's launch of Colpofix(R). The vaginal spray gel medical device is indicated for the prevention and treatment of cervical lesions caused by HPV.

HPV is one of the most common viral infections worldwide, with one in 10 women in Singapore affected by the infection. A 'wait and see' approach is adopted as most cases clear naturally within one to two years, but when HPV persists, it can lead to cervical cell changes that require medical follow-up and monitoring.
