Singapore, Aug. 19 -- CanSino Biologics has announced that China's National Medical Products Administration has accepted the New Drug Application for its Tetanus, Reduced Diphtheria and Pertussis (Acellular, Five Components) Combined Vaccine, Adsorbed, for people aged six years and above.

The vaccine, referred to as Td5cp Adolescent and Adult, is being developed as a booster for adolescents and adults and was granted Priority Review status in May 2026.

If approved, the vaccine is expected to complement CanSinoBIO's recently approved three-component DTaP vaccine for infants, Tripecia, expanding the company's pertussis-containing vaccine portfolio across different age groups.
