Patna, April 24 -- (BiharTimes) The newly formed BJP-led government in Bihar, headed by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, on Friday proved its majority in the legislative assembly, winning the trust vote with ease and signaling a stable start to a new political era in the state.
The confidence motion, moved by Choudhary, was passed through a voice vote in the 243-member House. With 202 MLAs backing the ruling NDA, the government demonstrated its commanding numerical strength, leaving little room for uncertainty about its tenure.
