Dhaka, March 21 -- Muhammad Yunus, former chief advisor to the interim government that preceded the BNP administration, has exchanged Eid greetings with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The meeting took place at 10:35am on Saturday, according to the premier's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Ruman.
Ruman said members of the prime minister's family, including his wife Zubaida Rahman, were present at the time.
Also present were the prime minister's daughter Zaima Rahman, Syeda Shamila Rahman, widow of Tarique's brother Arafat Rahman Koko, and her two daughters, Zahia Rahman and Zafia Rahman.
The prime minister had earlier offered Eid prayers at the National Eidgah before going to the Jamuna.
