Dhaka, Oct. 1 -- BNP's reserved women's seat Member of Parliament Ferdousy Ahmed Mishti has met with Speaker of the House Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, but did not clarify whether she has submitted her resignation.

Mishti went to the Speaker's office at the Parliament building at 1:40pm on Thursday. She left at 1:45pm, five minutes later.

As she was leaving, journalists asked about her possible resignation. Mishti said, "The speaker has called me. I came to talk to the speaker."
