Dhaka, March 31 -- The verdict in the case of the brutal murder of businessman Golap Hossain Pinku from Dhaka's Nawabganj, who was chopped into five pieces nine years ago, has once again been deferred.
The case was scheduled for a verdict on Tuesday in the court of Judge Md Rahibul Islam of the Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal-1. However, as the verdict was not ready, the judge set a new date for May 13.
The accused in the case are Advocate Matiur Rahman alias Mati, his sister Mariam Begum, her husband Lutfar, brothers Mokhles and Chan Mia alias Zahid, Zahid's wife Mary, Anis Master, Babul, Siraj, Amir, Enamul Karim Shahin, Amanur, Saizuddin, Shafiqul, Hazrat, Rinku, Sharif, Awlad, two brothers Kader and Nekbar, Hafiz Uddin, and Shiblu.
