Dhaka, July 2 -- Uttara University has signed 22 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with leading universities across Asia and Africa to boost its internationalisation efforts.

The agreements were finalised during the 5th Annual Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) 2026, organised by Times Higher Education and held from Jun 22-25 at the Indonesia Convention Centre in Jakarta, according to a media statement from the institution.

The global summit gathered university leaders, policymakers, and researchers to discuss how higher education can accelerate sustainable development.
