Dhaka, June 11 -- The BNP government has proposed a budget focusing on 10 main sectors, including prioritisation of universal education and healthcare.

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury presented a massive Tk 9.38 trillion budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year in parliament at 3pm on Thursday.

It is the first budget since the BNP formed the government after its landslide win in the February election.

The 10 sector priorities noted in this budget are:
