Bangladesh, Sept. 1 -- Two men have been killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Chattogram's Lohagara.

The accident occurred in the Thakurdighi area on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Highway on Tuesday morning, police said.

The dead have been identified as Firoz Ahmed Touhid, 23, and Maji Patwary, 24. Both hailed from the Shaharpara area of Chandpur's Kachua Upazila.

The two were on their way back to Chandpur from Cox's Bazar when the accident occurred, according to friends travelling with the two.
