Dhaka, May 2 -- Two people have been detained after several activists of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League staged a flash procession at the Raju Memorial Sculpture on the Dhaka University campus.
The incident took place around 6am on Saturday, according to Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed.
"A few Chhatra League activists brought out a flash procession at TSC. Later, members of our proctorial team detained two people with a microbus and handed them over to Shahbagh Police Station," he said.
The detainees are Farhan Tanvir Nasif, a 2019-20 session student from Sir AF Rahman Hall, and the driver of the microbus known only as Rubel.
