Dhaka, March 11 -- Two children have died after an old border wall of a building under construction collapsed in Dhaka's Badda.

The incident took place around 11:15am on Wednesday in the Lane No. 10 area of Uttar Badda's Purbachal. The dead were identified as 5-year-old Nusrat and 12-year-old Ayesha Moni.

After the accident, the two were rescued and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 1:15pm. The doctor on duty then declared both of them dead, said Inspector Md Faruk, officer-in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost.

Ayesha was the daughter of Md Iqbal, a building painter who hails from Yafedi village in Cumilla's Barura Upazila. She lived with her family in a house in Uttar Badda Purbachal. Ayesha...
