Dhaka, March 6 -- Two directors of the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) have been transferred with immediate effect.

They were attached to the Ministry of Public Administration in separate orders on Thursday.

The two BPC directors, who hold a rank equivalent to a joint secretary, are AKM Azadur Rahman and Muhammad Ashraf Hossain.

The notification said Azadur was serving as the director (operations and planning) at BPC. He has been transferred to the post of joint secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration.

Similarly, BPC director (marketing) Ashraf has also been transferred to the post of joint secretary at the same ministry.
