Bangladesh, Aug. 16 -- Police have recovered two bomb-like objects at Sarulia in Dhaka's Demra.

A Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) official at the scene said one person has been detained in connection with the incident.

The objects, wrapped in black tape, were found in front of West Nijhumbag Taleb Ali Mosque during a police operation in the area on Sunday afternoon.

Members of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's bomb disposal unit were called to the scene after the discovery. One of the objects has already been neutralised, while work is under way on the other.
