Two Bangladeshis killed, as many missing in Israeli drone strikes on Lebanon
Dhaka, May 12 -- The government has condemned an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon that killed two Bangladeshi expatriates, while two others remain missing following a separate attack.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Tuesday, urging all parties to exercise maximum restraint and adhere to international law.
The two victims, identified as Shafiqul Islam, 40, and Mohammad Nahidul Islam, 20, both hailed from Satkhira District.
They were killed around noon on Monday when a drone attacked their residence in Zebdine of Nabatieh.
The situation worsened on Monday night when a separate drone strike targeted another residential area in Nabatieh known to house Bangladeshi migrants.
