Dhaka, June 6 -- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in Tejgaon on Saturday, said the the premier's Press Secretary Abu Abdullah M Saleh.

He said, "The visiting Turkish foreign minister met with [Tarique]. In the meeting, views were exchanged on different issues related to the mutual interests of the two countries."

Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, Humaiun Kobir, foreign affairs advisor to the prime minister, and State Minister Shama Obaed were present during the meeting.

Fidan arrived in Dhaka from Seoul on a three-day visit to Bangladesh last Thursday night.
