Dhaka, Sept. 20 -- US President Donald Trump has floated new names for artificial intelligence and announced plans to create an "AI Force", while dismissing growing concerns over the technology as a political "hoax".

Trump posted a poll on his Truth Social platform asking followers to choose a new name for AI: "Superior Intelligence", "Extreme Intelligence" or "Supreme Intelligence", according to TechCrunch.

A few hours later, Trump accused Democrats of trying to undermine the AI industry, without providing evidence for the claim. He said he would not stand by and allow what he described as an attack on AI and data centres to succeed.
