Bangladesh, Sept. 1 -- A tribunal has been formed against three Dhaka University teachers over allegations of playing a "controversial role" during the July Uprising and their "activities" during the Awami League regime.

The three teachers are Mashiur Rahman of the sociology department, along with Wahiduzzaman Chan and Mahbubur Rahman Litu of the Institute of Education and Research.

These three teachers will remain suspended from academic and administrative activities.
