Dhaka, June 13 -- Consumers under the Titas Gas network may face low gas pressure for several hours due to maintenance work at an LNG supply terminal.

In a statement on Saturday, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC said pressure across its network may remain low until Saturday midnight because of ongoing maintenance at a floating storage and regasification unit, or FSRU.

The utility apologised to consumers for the inconvenience.

Titas, the country's largest gas distributor, supplies Dhaka and surrounding areas, serving residential, commercial, industrial and CNG customers.

Any cut or reduction in supply is quickly felt at the consumer level.
