Dhaka, April 5 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been hit by a fresh wave of resignations, with three directors stepping down on Saturday following a marathon nine-hour board meeting.
Faiazur Rahman, chairman of the Disciplinary Committee and senior vice-chairman of the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM), resigned immediately after the session.
He was followed by Shanian Tanim, chairman of the Facilities Management Committee, and Mehrab Alam Chowdhury, head of the Security Committee.
Their departure brings the total number of resignations to six within the first six months of the board's tenure under the leadership of Aminul Islam Bulbul.
