Dhaka, April 2 -- Another child has died with measles-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chattogram, taking the death toll over three days to three.

Health authorities confirmed the latest death on Thursday afternoon.

The child passed away on Monday while receiving treatment at International Medical College Hospital in Chattogram, Civil Surgeon Dr Jahangir Alam said.

He added that the patient was from Noakhali and had been admitted with measles symptoms, with samples sent to Dhaka for testing though results are still pending.
