Teen boy dies in clash over 'attempt to block drug sale' in Sarail
Bangladesh, May 30 -- A teenager has been killed in an hour-long clash in Brahmanbaria's Sarail.
Locals alleged that the clash broke out between the two sides over an attempt to obstruct a "drug sale". At least 15 people were injured in the incident.
The clash took place in Syedtula Uttarpara village of the Upazila in the wee hours of Saturday morning, said Sarail Police Station chief Manjur Quader Bhuiyan.
The deceased Md Raihan, 15, hailed from the Uttarpara area.
Police official Manjur said that around 10pm on Friday, a youth named Sujan Mia of the Uttarpara area gave another youth Tk 300 to buy yaba.
But the youth used the money to buy biscuits and ate them. This led to a scuffle and fight between the two.
