Dhaka, March 12 -- Four people, including a teenager, have been killed in separate road crashes in Madaripur and Manikganj.

Both accidents took place on Thursday afternoon, police said citing witnesses.

In Madaripur, the fatalities occurred after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a truck at Sadar Upazila.

Madaripur Sadar Model police chief Abul Kalam Azad said the dead in the district are Saiful Islam, 33, and Nazmul Khan, 17. They were relatives.

"The duo was heading for Madaripur town from Sadar Upazila on a motorbike. The vehicle was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction at Bahadurpur Union around 4:30pm," the officer said.
