Dhaka, June 24 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has attended the plenary session of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary, Atikur Rahman Ruman, said he joined the conference as a guest at the Dalian International Conference Centre at 9am on Wednesday.

"The prime minister is participating in the World Economic Forum conference," Ruman said. "He will speak to the world leaders who have come to the conference."

The conference is being presided over by WEF President and CEO Alois Zwingli, who also gave the opening speech.

In addition to the premier, the session was also attended by Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov,...
