Bangladesh, Aug. 8 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has handed job appointment letters to 10 members of families of those slain and injured in the July Uprising.

He presented the letters at his Tejgaon office on Saturday, also checking on the recipients' families.

The appointees are: Sabina Akter Rima, wife of slain Md Sohag; Rajia Khatun, wife of slain Md Shahriar; Afsana Akter, wife of slain Abdullah Kabir; Aklima Akter, wife of slain Mostafa Kamal Raju; Sumaiya Akter Suborna, wife of slain Md Jewel; Samia Islam Popy, sister of slain Miraj; Hafiza Akter Happy, wife of slain Ahsan Kabir; Farzana Akter Rani, wife of slain Omar Nurul Absar; Sabana Akter, wife of critically injured Abdul Matin; and Arzu Akter, wife of injured Julfikar Al...
