Dhaka, April 29 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has made queries about the health of the sick opposition MP Hafez Rabiul Bashar during the parliament session.
The lawmaker, representing the Satkhira-3 constituency, fell ill at 1.40pm on Wednesday while the house was in session.
Tarique went to the parliament lobby during the Zuhr prayer break and inquired about his physical condition, said Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.
The prime minister has directed relevant authorities to ensure the MP receives all necessary medical support for a swift recovery, Rumon added.
