Tarique, Xi hold bilateral talks in Beijing
Dhaka, June 26 -- Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has held a high-profile bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People to conclude his three-day state visit.
The two leaders engaged in a 50-minute dialogue in a highly cordial atmosphere starting at 10:40am local time on Friday at the presidential office within the historic complex in Beijing, Tarique's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said.
Sharing updates around 12pm, Ruman said the premier had proceeded to tour the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC) following his talks with the Chinese head of state.
