Dhaka, Sept. 26 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has met with Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah in New York, with the two leaders discussing ways to deepen bilateral ties in trade, investment, manpower and economic cooperation.

The meeting took place on Friday morning, local time, at Kuwait's Permanent Mission in New York, according to the Prime Minister's Office.

Tarique is in New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. His meeting with the Kuwaiti crown prince had been listed among his bilateral engagements during the visit.
