Dhaka, March 15 -- Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan produced a scintillating maiden century to propel the Tigers to a formidable 290 for 5 in the series-deciding ODI against Pakistan.
Asked to bat first at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday, Tanzid led the charge with a sparkling 107 off 107 balls, peppering the boundary with six fours and seven towering sixes.
The left-hander laid the platform with Saif Hassan, the pair putting together a solid 105-run opening stand after Bangladesh were sent in to bat.
Saif contributed a steady 36 before departing, but Tanzid continued to dominate the Pakistan attack, adding another 53 runs alongside Najmul Hossain Shanto, who made 27.
