Dhaka, March 15 -- A glittering maiden century from Tanzid Hasan, and 7 wickets combined by fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman have propelled Bangladesh to a series-clinching 11-run win against Pakistan in a tense Mirpur decider.
Chasing Bangladesh's challenging 290, the visitors lost 5 wickets with only 82 on the board at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Sunday.
Salman Agha then took charge, forged ahead, and clubbed 4 sixes and 9 fours to bring his side close to the coast with skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi (37), needing 30 off the last 15 balls.
But Taskin returned to crop him out, before Mustafizur and Rishad snuffed out the tail and claimed the victory.
