Bangladesh, Sept. 7 -- The Department of Law at State University of Bangladesh (SUB) has launched a four-day Law Fest 2026 in Dhaka, bringing together academic, co-curricular, and cultural activities under the theme "Think Law; Live Justice".

The festival, running from Sept 5-8, was inaugurated by Prof Asif Nazrul, advisor to the department.

Prof Md Hasan Kawsar, acting vice-chancellor of SUB, attended as chief guest.

The ceremony was presided over by Jinat Amin Shipa, chairman of the law department.

Speaking at the inauguration, Nazrul said knowledge of law is fundamental to building a just and conscious society, and stressed the importance of exposing students to its practical application beyond the classroom.
