Dhaka, June 22 -- State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam has called for "sincere support" from Turkey and the international community for the early repatriation of Rohingya refugees to Myanmar.

She made the appeal during a meeting with visiting Turkish Red Crescent President Fatma Meric Yılmaz at the foreign ministry on Monday, according to a media statement.

The Turkish Red Crescent president called on the state minister at her office during her visit.
