Dhaka, March 23 -- Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Minister Abu Zafar Md Zahid Hossain has been seeing patients in his home area of Dinajpur during the Eid holiday.

Zahid, a physician by profession, saw patients at his ancestral home in Motihara village of Nawabganj on Sunday evening and resumed consultations from 10am on Monday.

Speaking to bdnews24.com, the minister said a large number of people had gathered outside his home seeking treatment and advice.

"From 10am, patients have been crowding in front of the house. They are standing in a long queue," he said.
