Dhaka, March 9 -- Shimanto Bank has observed International Women's Day 2026 with a programme involving its female employees.

The event, held under the theme "Right, Justice, Action, For All Women and Girls," brought together women officers from the bank's head office and branches in Dhaka, the bank said in a statement.

Shimanto Bank Managing Director and CEO Md Nurul Azim attended the programme as the chief guest.

Members of the bank's senior management team were also present at the event alongside female officers from different departments.
