Bangladesh, July 6 -- A stone-laden truck has lost control and overturned onto a house in Lohagara, Narail, killing an eighth-grade schoolgirl and injuring her younger sister.

According to Assistant Sub-Inspector Anisuzzaman of the Naldi Police Outpost, the accident occurred around 12:30am on Monday near Naldi Khalpar.

The deceased, Shamima Akter Setu, 14, was a student at Naldi BBS Secondary School.

Her younger sister, Mitu Khanam, 12, a sixth-grade student at the same school, was injured in the incident and has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
