Bangladesh, May 23 -- The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a warning for pilgrims about dangerously high temperatures in Mina and Muzdalifah, advising them to take strict precautionary measures.

The Bangladesh Ministry of Religious Affairs issued a media statement on Saturday communicating the warning.

According to the Saudi ministry, temperatures in both Mina and Muzdalifah have reached 48C and could surge up to 50C around noon if wind speeds remain low.

In light of the extreme weather conditions, the Saudi ministry has requested all agencies involved in Hajj management to undertake adequate preparations and maintain maximum vigilance.
