Dhaka, March 27 -- Police have arrested three suspects after a 30-year-old rickshaw-puller was allegedly picked up from his house and beaten to death in Mymensingh's Gafargaon Upazila.

Mymensingh Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abdullah Al Mamun said the murder took place on Thursday night in connection with a "prior feud" over a property boundary with a neighbour.

The victim, Alam Miah, was the son of Saharuddin of Porshipara village of Gafargaon Union.

Police identified the arrestees as Abdul Quader, 55, Mohammad Mazaharul, 30, and Mohammad Imran Islam, 25.
