Rangpur family murder suspects Mugdha, Siddhartha test negative for drugs
Bangladesh, Aug. 31 -- Drug tests on two suspects in the murder case involving retired teacher Ganapati Chakraborty, his wife and their two children in Rangpur have found no traces of drugs in their bodies, police say.
The samples of Mugdha Das and Siddhartha Das were collected from jail and tested on Saturday, Rangpur Metropolitan Police spokesperson Sonaton Chakroborty said on Monday.
Detective Branch Deputy Commissioner Sonaton said the test reports found no presence of drugs in the bodies of the two suspects.
Police recovered the bodies of Ganapati, 60, his wife Pritilata, 50, their postgraduate student daughter Agami, 25, and their son Ayush Priyam Chakraborty, 12, from their home on Aug 22.
