Dhaka, March 9 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain across all eight divisions as the Bengali month of Falgun draws to a close.

In its Monday morning bulletin, the Met Office said that temporary gusty winds accompanied by rain or thundershowers are likely in one or two places over Dhaka, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.

In the 24 hours leading up to Monday morning, Netrokona recorded 7.1mm of rainfall, followed by 1mm in Mongla.

Trace amounts of rain were also reported in Kishoreganj's Nikli and Patuakhali.
