Bangladesh, July 29 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain in Chattogram and a couple of other divisions in the country in the last week of July.

However, there is little chance of rain in the capital Dhaka, says Meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir.

He said on Wednesday, "There will be rain in Chattogram, Khulna and Sylhet, including the coastal areas. However, there is no possibility of rain in the capital Dhaka and other parts of the country."

Meanwhile, the BMD has advised Bangladesh's maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra to keep hoisting local cautionary signal No. 3 due to the deep depression located over India's Odisha.
