Dhaka, March 25 -- The government has assigned two officers from the information cadre to the posts of deputy press secretary and assistant press secretary in the Public Affairs Division of the President's Office for posting on deputation.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration shared the information on Tuesday.

According to the notification, Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Press Information Department (PID) Molla Ahmad Qutubud Deen has been assigned to the President's Office as deputy press secretary.

SM Rahat Hasnat, senior information officer of the PID, has been assigned to the post of assistant press secretary.
