Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- Jamaat-e-Islami has criticised the Public Prosecutor (PP) for "objectionable wording" over the case against Akhtaruzzaman Ranjan, accused of threatening the executive director of Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport.

The party said in a statement on Saturday that such "indecent" remarks have called the PP's own position and responsibility into question.

Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, secretary of its central publicity and media department, issued the reaction.
